The Whyte Museum was founded by some of Banff’s early settlers Peter and Catharine Whyte who have an ongoing installation in the museum of countless paintings of Banff’s outdoor scene. This gallery is committed to sustainability, community, and to enriching the experiences of those who visit the National Park.

The Canada House Gallery is located just a skip, hop, and a jump away from Brewster Mountain Lodge on Bear Street. The gallery proudly hosts an array of Canadian artists, a few local artsits, some Inuit artists, and many who are recognized across Canada and internationally. Don’t be intimidated by the gallery’s amazing display of talent, their doors are open for all to come take a look.

The Buffalo Nations Luxton Museum was created as a space to encourage learning about past and present ties Banff National Park has with First Nations peoples who have long lived in the area long before the town of Banff was established.
