Banff ‘Made With Love’ Food & Cocktail Festival

April 22nd → May 4th

Banff’s largest food and cocktail festival returns for its third edition from April 22 to May 4, 2025! Experience amazing food and drink pairings, a lively outdoor street festival, and the opportunity to vote for the winner of the ‘made with love’ competition. This year’s theme, “Changing Perspectives,” encourages chefs and bartenders to innovate flavors, challenge conventions, and highlight seasonal ingredients along with local craft distilleries in fresh and exciting ways. Lake Louise – Mount Slushmore Pond Skim

April 26th

After a bluebird day on the slopes, head to Banded Peak Base Camp for après ski, where you can enjoy great music while sipping on a cool drink. This spring celebration is free, so come out and soak up the springtime sun. The excitement continues with the Mount Slushmore Pond Skim and plenty of other surprises in store. Learn more here.

Colombia Icefield Adventure

Opening May 3rd

Experience the sheer magic at the edge of Sunwapta Valley. Re-opening to the public in May, the Columbia Icefields is a must visit. Enjoy breathtaking waterfall views, explore fossils, brave the Skywalk and marvel at stunning glacier landscapes along the one-kilometre interpretive walkway. This path winds through areas often visited by mountain goats and various wildlife. While the journey itself is remarkable, the destination is truly unforgettable—a suspended platform where a sheet of glass stands between you and the rugged wilderness 918 feet (280 meters) below. Book in advance here.

Lake Minnewanka Cruise

Opening May 9th

Breathe in the crisp mountain air, keep an eye out for Banff’s biggest natural residents, and embrace the day on Banff’s largest lake just a short 15 minute drive from downtown. You can select from one of the popular cruises, where a knowledgeable guide will lead you on a heated, covered boat. Alternatively, chart your own path with a rental kayak, canoe, or motorboat.

Once you return to shore, visit the Black Anchor Snack Shop for a delightful picnic lunch. It truly feels like the start of summer in this beautiful setting! Learn more here.

Bloom and Brunch

April 15th → May 11th

Welcome the new season atop Sulphur Mountain, where you can inhale the crisp spring air and admire breathtaking views. The Banff Gondola and Northern Lights Alpine Kitchen are hosting the Bloom & Brunch Festival. Indulge in a delightful buffet brunch, sip on mimosas, enjoy live entertainment, capture beautiful floral photo moments, and more. It’s a joyful way to celebrate the new season while savoring a great meal. Book here.

Sunshine Village – Slush Cup

May 19th

Taking place on the final day of the season, Slush Cup is an exhilarating competition where participants ski or snowboard down a slope and launch themselves across (or into!) a chilly pool of water. The goal is to glide across the pool until reaching the other side. It’s the most anticipated time of the year for our local snow lovers! Learn more here.
