The cool crisp air in the mornings followed by warm sunny afternoons is a sure sign that Fall is here in Banff National Park. Yellow larch trees, blue green lakes coupled with a light dusting of snow, seem to make the mountains more beautiful this time of year. We have some great specials this time of year for those of you who venture our way. If great rates aren’t enough to get you excited about Banff this season, here are some fun things happening in and around town in the next few months.
The Banff Farmer’s Market
The Banff Farmers Market is held every Wednesday until Oct 3. It is held in Central Park. Vendors offer everything from fresh fruits and vegetables to artwork.

The Banff Centre for the Arts

The Banff Centre is a Global leader for the arts, culture, and creativity. We are so fortunate to have them in Banff. They have so many interesting musical and arts performances happening year round. One of our favorite events during the Fall is the Banff Mountain Film Festival, it’s happening this Oct 27 – Nov 4. Opening Day at Lake Louise Ski Resort and Sunshine Village

Ah yeah! Another amazing ski year is upon us! According to the Farmer’s Almanac, it’s supposed to be another snowy one in Banff National Park. Get your skis shined up!

Santa Claus Parade

A flurry of family-friendly activities kick-start the season in Banff bringing holiday cheer to a whole new level. During the day, kids can have their photo taken with Santa and tell him all of their Christmas wishes. At dusk, the streets come alive with the magic glow of the Santa Claus Parade of Lights as a procession of floats, performers, and Santa himself traverse Banff Avenue.

Banff Craft Beer Festival
The Banff Craft Beer Festival will be taking place at the home of Canada’s first national park. The Cave and Basin is beautifully set in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, and is now home to the world’s most beautiful beer festival.

Banff Christmas Market

The Banff Christmas Market is a weekend-long celebration of all things merry and bright. Santa arrives in Banff on a sleigh filled with handcrafted gifts in this land of wonderful culinary delights, caroling, and of course warm beverages for kids and adults alike.

Lake Louise World Cup

Experience the high-speed action of world-class alpine ski racing at the Lake Louise Alpine Ski World Cup, Canada’s premiere ski event. One of the few World Cup events where you can experience both the Men’s and Women’s World Cup together.
