Why we love it on a rainy day: The clouds and weather patterns on a rainy day can make for fantastic photos at the top of the gondola and there are many indoor viewing areas where you can enjoy the scenery without having to brave the elements. There is also a great interpretive area at the top of the gondola by Parks Canada, so you can learn a little something while you are there too!

When: 10 am – 5 pm
Rates: $10/ Adult
Why we love it: Explore mountain inspired art and exhibitions and learn a little bit about the history of this beautiful place and the people who shaped it along the way.

Wine and Dine – Banff has so much to offer in terms of dining options. Here are a few of my favorites for a rainy day and why I love them when the weather isn’t so nice.
MacLab Bistro – The view is spectacular, watch the weather roll by from behind glass
Grizzly House – Who doesn’t love fondue? Something about eating food smothered in cheese on a rainy day just gives me the warm and fuzzies
Wild Flour Bakery – For their delicious soups! Who doesn’t love hot soup when it’s cold outside
Chaya – This is more of a takeout option, but their spicy noodle bowls are a welcome treat when it’s cold outside
